Northwest DBT is a small group practice in the heart of NW Portland providing full fidelity DBT and DBT informed treatment to adolescents, adults, and families. We have provided DBT services for the last 15 years and have been made very aware by the incredible need of such services in our community. We recently became certified DBT clinicians through the Linehan Board of Certification and now feel ready to grow our practice.

Clinical activities may include the following: seeing adult and adolescent clients in DBT therapy, co-facilitating DBT skills groups, running workshops/trainings, providing individual skills training, and developing and running our outcomes program.  Activities can be negotiated and we are flexible in order to provide the experience you need and want. Payment will be on the percentage of income generated.

 Qualification and requirements:

  • Doctoral or Master’s degree (licensed)
  • Willingness to work with adolescents and families
  • Commitment to learning and providing full fidelity DBT
  • Complete highest level of DBT training
  • Carries adequate professional liability insurance
  • Carry a minimum caseload of 15 clients a week
  • Must work Monday and Tuesday, but other days/hours are flexible
